REPORT: 
The Women’s dev team had their first fixture away at Dereham in what was a first 11 a side full pitch game for some and their first game for NCHC for others. The team were very kindly looked after by El Jarvis who did a fantastic job! 
 
Experienced dev team player Chloe dominated the midfield, working hard to track back and defend as well as being a crucial part of the attacking force. Lola, in her first game for City showed fantastic fitness levels and an gave us an awesome display in work-rate and enthusiasm, scoring two goals on her debut with the first one being brilliant! 
 
With U12 GK Sophie at the back, the girls felt confident and Sophie was solid and reliable. She made some great first touch clearances and overall made lots of great saves. Sophie had a great team of Millie (also U12), Alice and Mary in front of her and the three of them made numerous strong tackles to then clear the ball out. Alice communicated well with the midfield, asking for support when needed. 
 
With Millie E, Amber and Sophie B across the attack along with Lola, there was some brilliant passing and movement off the ball. Phoebe (in her first full pitch game) worked tirelessly and showed great confidence with her passing. Laila (debut for City!) played well in the midfield, tackling well and working hard.  
 
The girls were supported by Susan (womens player) who played alongside them to help with positioning and coaching on the pitch and was positive and helpful throughout the game. 
 
Thanks to Dereham HC for the fixture, thanks to all of our parents who came to support and thanks to the umpires for their time.

RESULT:Cuty 6-2 Watton 
 
REPORT: 
 
Norwich 3 started well. They dominated possession keeping the ball with good accurate passing. Norwich gave Watton no respite when they did up possession the Norwich midfield pressed winning the ball back with ease.  
 
The Norwich pressure led to an early goal. Alvin Muthi moving forward at pace slapped a diagonal cross field pass at the left post for a diving Ethan Runton who deflected into the goal.  
 
After a little blip when Norwich allowed Watton to score Norwich reasserted control and scored 4 more goals before half time including a pile drive from Matthew Brine. I was hit so hard that the keeper clearly didn’t see it. 
 
The heat played its part in the second half with the energy dropping out of the match. Norwich stretched their lead before conceding another consolation.
