REPORT: This was a good game between ourselves and the 7th team . We welcomed back Ady Marr into the team which improved our goal scoring potential. The first half was quite even but in the second half we became more more in control , which resulted in us winning 4-1 . Three goals were scored by Ady Marr on his return and one by Nick Chappallaz also worth a mention was a fantastic save by Josie Miller when he managed to push the ball off the line and round the post . 
For his three goals Ady Marr received man of the match

REPORT: this was our worst performance so far this season but we managed a 2-1 win over Nomads 2 with goals from Ali Clabburn and John Whitlam.

RESULT: lost 3-2 
 
REPORT: this was a tough game against a well organised North Norfolk team , we got back into the game after going 2-0 down with goals from John Grange and Jim Stather . Unfortunately we lost in the dying seconds of the game when North Norfolk were awarded a short corner which they converted. 
Geoff Spencer was awarded POTM .

RESULT:won 4-1 
 
REPORT:we started off fairly steadily but we gradually started to put Watton under pressure and eventually we scored our first gaol . Watton were well organised especially at the back but we managed to penetrate their defence and score another goal. Watton kept pushing and scored just before half time. 
After half time we got more confident and were passing the ball about better which led to two more goals  
The gaol scorers today were Paul Gallop , Philip Nunn, Simon Deakin and Woody it was a good performance from all the team especially Geof Spencer who played at centre half who was nominated for man of the match.

REPORT: this was a good game but we came away with a 2-1 win with goals from Jack Whitlam and Simon Deakin. 
Josie Miller played really well in goal and Ali Clabburn was nominated POTM

REPORT: we started off slowly in this game and conceded an early goal after that we took control against a 10 man Pelicans team and won 8-1 with goals from Paul Roy 3 , Simon Deakin 2 and John Grange, Chris Coupland and Paul Gallop scored one each . Paul Roy was POTM for his hat- trick .

REPORT: this was a competitive game but we played well and won 4-0 with goals from Simon Parsons , Simon Deakin, Ali Clabburn and David Woodward. John Grange was awarded POTM for his hard work and control in midfield.

REPORT: this was a close game against Dereham which resulted in a 1-0 win for us , the only goal was scored by John Whitlam. POTM was awarded to David Broadway.

REPORT: we won this game quite comfortably with goals from Shaun Ferris and two by Ethan Rushton but we had to concede the game because the 5th team could not field a team for their fixture . POTM was Ethan Rushton for his two goals and lots of effort through out the game.

In their final pre-season fixture City's Mens 6th XI put in a stellar performance to put Norfolk Nomads 2nd XI by 6 goals to 1 at Taverham. Corey Rushton put in a player of the match performance as he scored 3 with other goals coming from Ollie Millett, Ethan Rushton and John Whitlam in the 6-1 victory.

REPORT: 
City 6s started the season with a home game v North Norfolk 2s. With a few senior players absent there were debuts to Ethan Rushton and Ollie Millett who both had inspired performances. City played some excellent hockey in the first half with goals for Ollie Millett, Ethan Rushton, Nigel Cushion and Lee Allsop giving them a 4-1 lead at half time. Into the second half and City dominated from start to finish with North Norfolk limited to only counter attack opportunities, however despite City's dominance City could only muster one goal with Ollie Millett scoring his second of the game. FT 5-1 
A good start to the season for city with youngster Ollie Millett collecting POTM for his two goals and stellar performance on debut.
