I don't have a story linking me to Cancer. I'm fortunate to have had very little to do with it across my friends and family. I work with hundreds of children on a daily basis and thankfully again have had very little exposure to it across my eight years of teaching.
But it's there and I know the day may come in the future and I want to be able to say that I've done my bit to help. Children with Cancer UK are doing amazing work on a daily basis and continue to change lives in ways that most of us will never appreciate.
The marathon and this challenge are certainly changing me and my life throughout this process and I hope that by the time it's done and can look back and be proud of my achievements, but more importantly my fundraising efforts.
Please think of me on these cold winter evenings and Sunday mornings and spare whatever you can to help.
Thank you
