The project for the second pitch is well underway. And the concept for a revised lottery with a £5.00 per month contribution has been widely welcomed! The organisations that will help with funding (Sportsmatch, Foundation for Sport & Art, Biffa, Veolia, etc) insist that we raise a reasonable level of funding ourselves or need to know where other funds will come from… for example Biffa insist on 10% match funding. So along with the other ongoing fundraising, this lottery will benefit the club enormously. NCHC has over 450 members… we hope to get at least 200 participants. This would raise well over £12,500 per year, including gift aid and after payouts. The prizes: The lottery will be run through TRF Ltd, Taverham Recreational Facilities, the company that owns the pitch and club-house and is a registered charity – this will allow us to claim Gift Aid. The lottery will be run by Stephen Meek, a famous Norwich City veteran who has been running the NCHC lottery for over 15 years. To join, you will need to complete two applications: You will then be entered in the monthly draw. Prizes will be paid by cheque and the winner's names will published on the website.
You can join the Club and Ground Lottery for as little as £1.50 per month (or £18 per year) and this entitles you to be entered into a potential prize draw each month of up to £60 each month, depending upon number of tickets. You will also be helping to raise funds for the future of the club, which is why this is known as the Club and Ground Lottery. For those already participating then why not consider increasing your odds, and in turn help the club with more fund raising, by buying tickets for other family members or friends.
